Bill Ding cartoon

Gettin' jiggy with Bill Ding!
Okay, explain that first line. "Build, Make, Yourself." That's not even a sentence – two standalone verbs and a pronoun. My theory is that the art guy did his part and passed it to the copywriter, who had started his weekend at noon. Or perhaps the art guy joined him for liquid lunch, judging by the stances. The man dances as wooden as Bill. Notice that instead of pointing blocks, Bill now has kung-fu grip?
Rejected ad slogan:
Take my wooden clenches
And dance with me
You save money on your home
And the sex is free
