Bill Ding cartoon

Eventually houses weren't the only thing Bill Ding advocated renovating; this ad marks the modernization of Bill himself. Better, Stronger, Faster, with new brass hinges that will allow him to stand up straight. He still won't actually do the work and still will bend your wife over the kitchen table while you're at the hardware store buying 2x4's, but his lines are cleaner and his branded chest sports a font instead of handwriting. And he lost weight too – no more big round heavy shadow. Bill also now has a little © tagging along at his feet.

Rejected ad slogan:
I've changed my look
But I'm still the same
Add leaves to my promo picture
With a rhyme on them that's lame
