Another lost moment in a found photo
Her name was Anne, age 15 when the photo was taken in 1935. She gave me this
picture shortly after we got engaged in a previous life, and we planned to get
married the day after her 18th birthday. Unfortunately she died in a train accident
the day before her 18th birthday, and I have missed her since before I was born.

This is one of my favorite photos and my favorite stories. I had this picture up in my cubicle
at a job with a bank to see if anyone would ask about it, and eventually someone did. The look
on her face as she tried to noodle the story out was precious. Photo from Seattle Paper Works
at the Pike Street Market. The original is 6.5"x11" and has no writing or infomation on the back.
