Henry managed to discourage the neighborhood dogs from entering his yard.
It was also effective against friends and family, so he was twice as happy.
If you had never heard of the practice, which was popular in the 1980's: there
is an urban myth that bottles or milk jugs of water placed strategically will
discourage animals from pissing in your yard. As opposed to bottles of people pee
flung from automobile windows, which
apparently is a problem in my home state.
[strikeout - all doubt was removed when a plastic bottle of used Pepsi landed in my yard]
