Edna loved sitting in her livingroom entertaining guests. Some of her family
and community members thought she was batty, since almost all of her guests
were "invisible", but she told her nephew to stand on the other end of
the room and take a photo of her next to the mantle, and once developed he
and the rest would see that she wasn't crazy. Surprisingly she proved her point.
You would not believe how much certain elements of this room are nearly
identical to what was in my sainted grandparents' house (but in different
places). Photo came from an antique dealer on the Seattle waterfront.
